Dominica Botanical Gardens
The Botanical Gardens are located on the outskirts of Roseau within easy walking distance of the town centre. There is no charge for entry but there is a small charge if you want a map with an indexed list of the plants and trees that are in the gardens. The list is available from the Forestry office in the gardens. It is also possible to visit the aviary and breeding facility housing Dominica's rare parrots, the Jacquot and Sisserou (the national bird).
